Matthew P. Block is publisher & editor of the Christian County Sun. He started the Sun in February of 2010 in order to provide Christian County with a broader base of community news coverage, a better online resource for Christian County’s news, bring a locally-owned news source to the county, & most importantly promote a greater sense of community to Christian County.

Teresa Blondo, was born and raised in Aberdeen, South Dakota, but moved to the Springfield area in February of 1995. She worked in health information management for 15 years, many of them for Cox Health Systems. Leaving Cox in the fall of 2009, Teresa decided to concentrate on new endeavors involving her first passion, writing. She started The Springfield Foodie last year, and is currently turning a one-time hobby into a bona-fide business.
