Filing Closes Again, Now With 11 Candidates Running for Recorder
During the five days that filing was re-opened for the Christian County Recorder of Deeds office, ten more candidates added their names to the ballot. That makes a total of ten Republicans & one Democrat seeking the spot.
The following individuals have filed to run for the Republican nomination: (in order of filing) Linda Essick, Dennis Clinton, Connie Todd, Jim Gray, John Francka, Denise L. Ericson, Sharon A. Stewart, Bobby Dean Combs, L. Emerson “Emo” Reynolds, & Kelly Blunt Hall. The candidate who receives the most votes on the August 3 ballot will face Candy Valdivia on the Novemeber ballot, who was the lone candidate filing for the Democratic nomination.
