Candidates Line Up for County Recorder’s Race
After filing re-opened for the Christian County Recorder of Deeds office, seven more candidates have added their names to the ballot.
The following individuals have filed to run for the spot: (in order of filing) Linda Essick, Dennis Clinton, Connie Todd, Jim Gray, John Francka, Denise L. Ericson, Sharon A. Stewart, & Bobby Dean Combs.
Filing for the County Recorder’s race remains open until Wednesday April 7 at 5:00pm. With eight candidates already filed, the number of votes needed to win the August 3 Republican primary will likely be very low. This type of scenario often entices even more candidates to register, so it would not be surprising to see at least a couple more individuals added to the race in the next couple of days.
